Construction work for the Hochstetten-Dhaun bypass officially began on November 16, 2015 with the symbolic ground-breaking ceremony. In addition to the two bridge structures and the culvert structure, eight different retaining wall structures were built, including angled retaining walls, gabions and embankment protection using the spatial grid method. Eight noise barriers were installed to minimize noise pollution. A rainwater retention basin was also integrated to optimize drainage. CSZ Ingenieurconsult GmbH & Co. KG was commissioned by the construction company to carry out the implementation planning for the 300-meter-long bridge structure.
