CSZ attends the handover ceremony for the Schulstraße Grammar School in Berlin-Mitte

The new building for the Schulstraße 97 grammar school in Berlin-Mitte was officially handed over to the Mitte district on 8 July 2026. The school has been designed as a ‘compartment school’ with flexible learning areas and features two three-court sports halls arranged one above the other. The new school has capacity for 664 pupils.
The ceremony was attended by Sören Lang, Branch Manager of the CSZ Dresden branch, Ms Marion Herrmann and Mr Thomas Truxa, as well as Mohamad Hussein, Branch Manager of our Berlin branch, Ms Melda Görgil and Ms Christina Silkin-Wagner.
Together with the lead architect, our long-standing project partner a+r architekten GmbH from Stuttgart, CSZ provided the services relating to building services engineering, structural engineering and building physics. The new school building was handed over by HOWOGE Wohnungsbaugesellschaft mbH to the Berlin-Mitte district.
