Building project

As a part of regular inspections of bridges according to DIN 1076 a main inspection of the bridge has been carried out in the year 2003. The structure of the bridge was visually examined for damages from a mobile platform. In addition, material samples were extracted in order to determine chloride concentrations and depth of carbonate formation. The thickness of the concrete cover of the reinforcement has been measured by inductive means and the condition of the post-tension cables were inspected by endoscope.

Continuous two-span bridge (120 m + 101 m) with hollow box cross section, built by the cantilever method in 1979.
