New office building on the location of the former “Zürich” high-rise building with 43 floors and a circumferential block building with 7 floors as well as 2 underground parking levels.

Structural Design

High-rise building consisting of a reinforced concrete structure, foundation on a combined pile slab foundation. Horizontal loads are resisted by reinforced concrete shear walls and exterior columns (tube-in-tube).
The block building is designed as reinforced concrete structure with two-way slabs and columns, founded on a base slab. Excavation walls such as Berlin type and bored pile walls doubly or triply braced as anchored girder pilings, double and triple anchored overlapped bored pile wall and high pressure soil injection (partially simply braced).
