The waste incineration plant has been completed in 2001. Its expansion by a third processing line started at the end of the year 2006.
Our contribution comprised amongst others the design of the expansion of the existing ash bunker, the extension of the existing from 20 to 44 meters height and the façade of the new incineration building.
Furthermore, the extension of the rain storage system of the plant by a second chamber as well as a pipeline bridge and extraction building for cooling water from the Rhine river has been designed.


Extension of the bunker:
Reinforced concrete structure on pile foundation
Extension of the staircase:
Reinforced concrete structure with bracing to the existing waste bunker
Façade of the boiler house:
Tin roof and tin sheeting on steel substructure
Storage basin:
Closed reinforced concrete basin, water impermeable
Pipeline bridge:
Steel truss, max. span about 33 meters
