For the reorganisation of the production in plant No. II in Obertshausen, the existing halls 9/10 will be converted into a logistic center.

It contains the central storage and distribution for parts and components for the production and replacement parts. In order to achieve a high reliability in the distribution of parts, in particular for the production, a state of the art stock-keeping technic will be installed. In hall 10, a small component depot for 11,000 parts will be installed on an area of 575 m². Hall 9 will contain storage place for more than 800 pallets on an area of 550 m².

Construction


The base dimensions of the existing halls 9/10 are 123 m x 44 m with heights between 4.5 m and 8 m. The bearing structure consists of the steel frames. The two story appendix on the west side consists of a masonry/concrete structure.
